I'm Carmia Jordaan, a passionate graphic designer, artist, and illustrator with over a decade of experience in stationery design.
My design style
My design style can be described as bold, modern, and colourful. I love experimenting with typography and incorporating texture, painterly effects, and abstract art in my work.

I live in a quaint, friendly town in the Western Cape, South Africa. I share my life with my husband and our overactive ginger cat, Cheddar.
When I'm not immersed in design, you can find me painting with watercolours, enjoying YouTube vlogs, listening to 90s pop music, sketching on my iPad, or dreaming up home décor ideas on Pinterest. I cherish cozy moments and quality time with my husband.
I launched Clementine Creative in 2011, a blog that became a creative outlet. Through it, I shared a plethora of free printable cards and had the honor of being featured on platforms like Pop Sugar, Buzzfeed, Oh So Beautiful Paper, Emmaline Bride, Woman's Day Magazine, Country Home Magazine, and Brit+Co.
Now that I’ve transitioned away from blogging, I focus on my stationery business full-time. Today, you can find my invitation and card designs on Zazzle, Minted, Greetings Island, Greenvelope, and Felt.
A few fun facts about me:
🇿🇦 My first language is Afrikaans. It's a language that originated from Dutch.
🧑🏫 My parents are both retired high school teachers. My dad is now a full-time fine artist.
❤️ I love chai lattés, avocados, animals, nature, interior decorating, and Apple products.
📺 My favourite TV series are The Office, Parks and Rec, The Big Bang Theory, Brooklyn 9-9, Superstore, The X-Files, The I.T. Crowd, and Better Call Saul.
